My thing is getting a huge bounty after stealing a ship after everyone is dead.  If I do piracy and destroy all the ships but 1 then I disable and board and kill the crew and take the ship sometimes I get the last witness is dead and don't get any bounty (or a very low bounty of a few hundred credits) but sometimes I get bounties over 10k credits even though there are no witnesses left and everyone is dead.  You cannot predict which ones will or won't do this.  I have been resorting to cheating in credits for those big bounties.

I got the last witness killed and the bounty removed recently on a UC ship but got a 15k bounty from the crimson fleet on one of thier ships.
